1. Introduction
The following links and information provide guidance in proper application methods and document submittal procedures for issuance of the "Inland Modified & BUR Roof 5 Year System Warranty". This warranty is not applicable to residential installations or any installation under 100 squares in size. Additionally, Inland's System Warranties are only available to Approved Contractors.

2. Approved Contractor Status
If you are not currently an Inland Approved Contractor, the following forms must be submitted.

3. Preliminary Project Review
Immediately after contract award, a complete and accurate Bid Report must be submitted to the Inland Warranty Department for approval. This should include pages 1, 2 and 3 of the Inland Project Profile, with a drawing of the roof and the following pictures with detailed descriptions:

Distant shot of entire building.
Roof height shot of overall project.
Close-up of horizontal and vertical seams.
Any unusual flashing or problem areas.

A project approval letter must be received from Inland prior to beginning a System Warranted Project. All Project Review pictures and documents should be sent to the following address:

4. Specifications, Requirements, and Estimating
For proper application procedures, please refer to Inland Specification #IMB350M-6 and "General Requirements". We have also provided a link for basic Spray Equipment Recommendations.

5. Inspections
Inland requires two inspections on each system warranted project. The first inspection is conducted at the beginning of the project, after all surface preparation is completed, and prior to the application of any Inland products. Any necessary training issues will be conducted at this time. The second inspection will be conducted at the end of the project, after all product applications are completed.

Contractor shall provide the Inland Warranty Department at least two (2) weeks notice for scheduling of on-site inspections.

The Inspection Charges must be submitted to Inland, and the initial inspection scheduled, before the start of the project to ensure that the inspections can be performed at the appropriate times. Inspection charges should be submitted to the following address:

6. Projection Completion - Issuing of Warranty
At project completion, a Warranty Submittal Packet must be assembled containing the following forms and information.

The System Warranty should be completed and signed by both the "Approved Inland Contractor" and the building owner or "Owners Representative". The original, signed copy must be sent to Inland Coatings Corp.

The "Warranty Certification Statement" must be completed and signed by the Approved Inland Contractor".

Pages 3 through 5 of the "Inland Project Profile" should be completed. This to include attaching copies of invoices, project pictures, etc.

The Roof System Warranty Fees Form should be printed out and completed. A check payable to "Inland Coatings Corporation" should be attached to the form.

Prior to mailing the warranty submittal packet, please refer to the "Warranty Checklist". This will ensure that all necessary information and documents are properly submitted.
